About Sarah

Sarah founded Nature’s Assistance in 2004 in Little Paxton, Cambridgeshire after moving up from London with husband Steve and German shepherd “Magic”. Before becoming an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Sarah worked for over 20 years in the Financial Services Industry in London. It was within this hectic environment that she became very aware of the stresses and strains corporate life was putting both her body and mind through and impacting upon her general health!

It was then that Sarah discovered how massage was a fantastic way to relax and let go of the daily challenges. After regular massage sessions, Sarah started taking an interest in essential oils and the therapeutic effects they can have on our bodies and minds and especially how through massage, these oils can be introduced into the body.

In 2002 Sarah joined the London School of Aromatherapy as a part time student to complete the Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy and Massage. After qualifying in 2003 with the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA), Sarah started practising Holistic Therapies and has never looked back!

In addition to running Nature’s Assistance, Sarah works closely with St. Neots Acorn Cancer Support Group, treating members and carers, helping to organise other therapists who support the group and arranging therapy days for the members.

Sarah is also a member of the Hunts Therapist Network, which is a group of highly qualified and caring complementary practitioners providing a range of holistic therapies in the local community.

Sarah’s passion for her profession as a massage therapist doesn’t end with her own skills development, but applies equally to helping other therapists maximise their potential and raise their skill level. As such Sarah is proud to be a teacher of clinical massage and soft tissue therapy with the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training in Brighton.

As you can see, Sarah holds a real passion for allowing people to have the ‘freedom to be themselves’, whether that is following an accident, injury, illness or everyday stress. This passion drives Sarah to continuously learn and develop her skills to bring the best and up to date techniques into her clinic.
