Back Massage for Slider

Touch is one of our greatest senses. A sensory experience that is critical to growth and development that until fairly recently has perhaps been undervalued in Western society.

Touch therapy is one of the oldest forms of treatment in the world having first been described in China during the second century BC. Thanks to the work of Tiffany Field – Director of the Touch Research Institutes at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University, Florida, a huge amount of research has been – and continues to be – undertaken to investigate the effects of standardised massage application in a wide array of conditions. Established in the early 90’s the Institute strives to better define touch as it promotes health and contributes to the treatment of disease. The research that began in the early 80’s and continues now has shown that touch therapy has numerous beneficial effects on health and well-being in many different age groups.

Touch through massage brings comfort as well as greater awareness of our bodies and acts as an excellent medium for applying essential oils.

Bodywork treatments offered by Nature’s Assistance are tailored to the clients’ needs and promote physical and psychological wellbeing by balancing energy flow through the whole body.
